CHARTERS
Exploramar also specializes in Private Charters. We will gladly advise you of the best seasonal opportunities whereby you can enjoy the various types of fishing that we have available here on the island of Gran Canaria.
Some of the various charters in which Exploramar can offer you include:
Trolling Charters
Several species of Tuna such as Albacore Tuna, Big Eye Tuna, Blue Fin Tuna and Yellow Fin Tuna can be found in our waters between the months of November and May. They are caught by using a lure system, whereby lures are pulled behind the boat at various distances. It is common for multiple strikes to occur at any one time.
Species of billfish such as Blue Marlin (which can range between 200 kilos to 500 kilos), White Marlin and Spearfish are generally caught between the months of April through to October, even though they have been known to arrive earlier. During this period there are also species such as Bonito, Dorado (which are also known as Mahi Mahi or Dolphin Fish) and Wahoo in the waters of Gran Canaria.

Ray fishing is of great excellence between the months of October/November to March/April. The various types of rays include Blonde and Black Rays, Butterfly Rays, Eagle Rays and Sting Rays.
